The fight is not over. The federal bills suffered a sounding defeat. But the war has just begun. It will be long. It will be ugly and the gungrabbers will employ every dirty trick to impose their misguided wills on the rest of us.
As a matter of fact, the Obama administration’s strategy was to deluge the legislative dockets at the federal and state levels in order to completely change the landscape of Second Amendment rights.
The sycophantic me-too Democrats in California were all too happy to oblige the President’s anti-constitutional agenda.
Nearly 50 bills are on the table. Some of these will die an obscure death, some will get incorporated with other bills and others yet will get rammed through because their sponsors are very close to or are themselves CA Democratic Party bosses.
So, here are some simple fliers that can communicate the idiocy of these bills.
Sen. Loni Hancock’s SB 396 requires magazine bodies to be no longer than is necessary to accommodate 10 rounds of ammunition and bans limited and grandfathered magazines.
Leland Yee’s SB 47 seeks to ban the bullet button.
Darrell Steinberg’s SB 374 bans and forces registration of all semi-automatic rifles (including rimfire).
